My concern is that if they are hard to dry they will stay moist in the heat from humidity and such and then create a bacteria/mold type of situation. That is kind of the last thing we want, eh? However I would be willing to take a test batch and see what happens, I can create a lot of humidity in my bathroom and see what happens... it'll be an easier decision if I can physically see them/hold them you know? Have her email me!

I really don't think we need to have a list of what's in the bag. If one can't tell what something is for, imo, it shouldn't be in the bag... when we started this it was a simple straight forward project and the more complex it gets for me (not to be selfish, but a lot of the work depends on me, so I am going to have to be a little selfish) the less I can ultimately give because of my limited spare time.

**also it starts getting cold at night there soonish, and boy does it get cold, we don't want wet/damp articles sitting out in the cold. i'd like to stick with things that can be used year round, so there is never any confusion as to what we might need and when (with exception of the themed holiday type bags, obviously) does that make sense?

'scoo, homeslice. :) Understood on the list as well. I thought perhaps people might want to keep track if they are worried about items leaving the bag...not sure how much of a problem that is over there.

meh it happens, but it's basically unavoidable - it happens in the barracks stateside and in the field and at basic training/bootcamp all the time anyway/too, and who's really gonna be all "OK WHO STOLED MY CHAPSTICK?!" when really they can go to the PX (depending what kind of base they're at) and get a new one ;)
